Well to me it seems the back foot should be horizontal or almost horizontal.
Thanks a lot for the comment iLKke! I will, at the last moment before countdown ,do a little edit to try to fix that.. Should I lower the far foot and hand down a bit?
Also I will manke her wrist and hand a pixel thicker based on my friend's personal critique. She's got toned arms but to weild the steel she needs a bit more mass.
Shows how skilled people can mix the reds and greens together instead of treating them as two separate ranges.
Good stuff!
The feet (esp far one) and the hand are at odd angles, but pixel-tech wise, the piece is spot on!
Thank you sweetly for the comment Votali. The palette is even better than I thought it would be or just fun.
I am glad you and Cheetah both could either recognize my style or maybe it's the shiney box preview I use a lot giving it away.. either way maybe I'm establishing my own (Final)fantasy style.
I had a feeling this piece was yours and ta-da! it is!
Always that lovely (final) fantasy vibe, great use of the palette <3
You've been one of my more favorite artists on this site since your FFVI piece. Keep up the wonderful work!
Well I looked into it and tried another approach.. I scrapped it though; it looked like a mismatched lightsource. I don't think it's that pillowy anyway; but maybe I just suck.
I took a few of the lightest pixels out for a simple fix and I think that helps.
Lijj, I recognized this as yours from a quick glance at the preview. Though I can't attribute it to the palette this time, great use of the palette btw. Something about how you shade the hair, I'm concerned that it is a bit pillow shaded though the rest of the piece isn't.
Thanks Tosta! I may try something in this style again sometime soon.
