While I'm not keen on the angle what I do love is the classy 16 bit sci fi feel which even the font is full of. Great stuff.
Reminds me of UFO: Enemy Unknown alien base missions, which is nice.
Thanks Riva! I found the description version on Pixelation, but I had to come thank you here too. Fav'd!
It is not isometric (1:2), it is planometric (1:1). Isometric is slighty less than 30º and planometric exactly 45º.
Nah man, there is something called 1:1 isometric, I'm not sure entirely what it is though. If someone wants to explain it that would be cool.
Great artwork mate, but i'm little confused. Which side the light source is coming from ?
Nice work.
One point tho', this is not an isometric piece. To be iso you need an angle of 120° and not 90

I especially love the perspective, but overall it's amazing!
Hi, not sure what you mean.
I didn't edit the glass or anything from the original version. Just added the soldiers.
The light always (should have) come from bottom left corner.
The shiny and reflexive objects though are always special. You can shade them from different angles because they reflect surrounding objects (even ones not on the scene) in addition to light source. And even reflect light source reflected on objects if you want ;)
Hello Riva, loved your job, struggled much for secret santa.I just think the lighting was a bit confused. In the glass, the highlight comes almost as a pillow shading. Now, the rest of the objects, and even in the base glass, lighting comes from the left.
Great job! I found the manga and anime part to be quite funny.
I love this pixel art.
