The amulet or whatever is amazing but the hand could do with a bit of polish, also the border makes it look a bit cramped

It means this piece is blobby, since it is composed of unrefined blobs. Pretty much the opposite of carefully crafted pixel clusters. It is maybe half finished.
Mr Beast, like many before him, makes a lot of sense when he says you should learn digital painting. You have the skill, but not the patience, to create the works you set out to make. If you payed as much attention to the hand as to the jewel then this would have gotten much better feedback.
this is really old stuff, this is not new, I decided to post :). I'm working on something which is currently 90% AAed, ^^.
I agree with Delicious. You really need to start spending more time on each piece man. You have beautiful work, but at this point it's just starting to look lazy. You're attention to detail and color is amazing, but it seems that you just lack the discipline to stick with one piece of art till it is fully complete. Do us all a favor and put in 2x the amount of time on each piece, and I wouldn't doubt you'll be one of the next people on this website doing an interview for the front page.
please do yourself a favor and learn digital painting instead of PA
Yet again, lacks rendering. Looks very jagged and unrefined. Not bad, but could be better if done at pixel level.
I must say, I really like your straightforward painterly images, which lacks ordinary dithering and stuff. It's refreshing for a guy like myself who always do the absolute opposite.
Nice with the mechanic/stone material of the fingers. Perhaps the overall light and shadow would need some overview.
