 Hello all, this is literally my second day trying my hand at pixel art, I am sure you can tell.

I decided to start off with a few characters to practice making like this one "Heisenberg" who is Walter White's drug dealing alter ego in the show Breaking Bad played by Bryan Cranston. Tell me what ya think, a decent first stab?

Yes, this is a good first stab.
I suggest to use more contrast. The details of the face are invisible to be at 1x. And perhaps try to use less saturated colors.
