I made a little edit, I wanted to see how it would be if the table had a different color:

I changed a bit the guy and his pants' colors and the lenghty of his legs.
But I'm completely new to pixel art so feel free to ignore me. 
Anyway, it looks great! Good job!
More marked shadows on the ground (from furniture) and table (from the legs) would help this. Quite nicely done anyway.
Every time I looked at it today at 1x I thought it was a person jumping over the table in mid-jump. The legs merged together and the two feet looked like one big boot. I had to zoom in to discern what was intended.
