This was made for Ludum Dare 26, around a theme of 'Minimalism'. It was suggested to have the art style shift from complex, to minimal as stages progressed. There was a need to take my level of rendering up a notch for the forest stage so it was necessary for me to do a quick study to know how leaves are arranged within a branch. I spent an hour working with a blocked-in tree and this was my result.
^You can play what my team managed to get finished here, though we were unable to implement waves and different stages. All there is is just one stage rendered as best as I comfortably can (without art style issues) within the time limit.

The shadow in the game was supposed to be a semitransparent color since it needed to be its own object among other things. It's a solid color in this version at PixelJoint.
