Ah, yes, Earthbound. The play of light and shadow here is beautiful, as is the way you faded from light into dark in the backdrop. The only thing I notice that might need improved on is the group shadow, which has some spotty AA over on the far left - but that's a nitpick, and the rest of the piece is excellent. I'll have to look at more of your work.
I've never played the game, but I hate Ness because whenever my brother comes over and plays Brawl he plays as Ness. I just think of him as an enemy.
Good picture, though.
Why must you keep me obsessing over its perfection? XD I personally liked the high-contrasting world, but I'll see what I can do to blend more of the lighting and shadows with each other.

Overall composition issues:
Earth is too bright / contrasted and keeps pulling the eye away from the group.
Group shadow might be too detailed on the left side too. It could maybe merge with a general darkening of the ground.
