Wow! The background is a bit annoying but who care, the portrait is so gorgeous!!
Aw thank you DB... That is a great image and palette. I hope to try the palette sometime.
Another amazing palette and really good use of it! Hot damn :D
@||||: Think you're right...trimmed of a pixel on the neck's right. Thanx.
That's great.. I don't usually draw or pixel from real life images so I may be wrong here:
The neck struck me as way too thick when I first looked upon this. I see that in the ref it's the same but maybe when translating from photos to art it's good to make slight adjustments. Because the mind accepts proportions in photos even when it looks off, due to the fact that you know it's a real thing. But when translated to art the eye becomes more keen on such oddities.
Love it! But darn, now I have a new palette to wrap my head around... challenge ACCEPTED!
Another quality set. I'm actually curious if you could go the other direction though. Maybe an 8 color set or something. Probably a lot more work, but I think that would be a pallete that truely goes down in at least PJ history.
As much as I really like this 32 pallete, the 16 one is still my favorite. Probably because of the purist mentality I've been trained to have here, where less is more!
That being said, this is still an amazing pallete (and great piece of pixel art) ... Any chances of us seeing a smaller DB pallete added to the series? I wish I had the talent to put together my own color sets. Nice work again.
I think the planes of the face are a bit too oversimplified and likeness is somewhat off.
Very nicely done, though.
More beautiful work come with this beautiful palette. Congratulations!
Very good coloring except I do find the dithering on the next stands out a bit too much. The palette is fantastic.
Good use of the palette. You use it so well, it's as if you made it.
