Working hard and in time for the weekly challenge one more time!
Maybe I should have polished some more detail, but I did not have time.
This piece is pretty impressive. When you zoom in you can actually see the pixel shading, but the miniature version looks so realistic I think it could almost pass as a photograph.
Well deserved win. Lovely.
Urhmagurd, it's the trurfurce of purrerrr.
Awesome idea for the challenge, got my vote!
Link is somewhat cruel with living creatures, putting them in jars and all... >':
love it! Hyaaah!
edit: about the highlight on the jar, I actually thought it was from light bouncing off the triforce, though I guess it's a little bright for that
Atmospheric and smooth. Love it!
Wow, good work!
thank you guys! I'm glad you like it.
Yes, depict a bottle and look like a bottle has been a problem. I know that the reflections are not real, but this way the bottle seems like a bottle and gives the fairy a really great appearance of shining.
Good appreciation Jal!
TIP: I've took almost all colors from a posterised real photo of a candle. Specially from the transition of the dark into the flame.
aaaand we've got a winner.
It would (failed to find a better ref, see how each candle reflects on the other bottle).
Also the linear reflection would not happen from the inside light source, only an outside lateral source can do that.
Neither of these really matter anyway =)
Nice colors. I loved your shadows
Really excellent dithering. Good job!
Just wondering if the rupee would reflect on the jar since light can go thru glass. Not a nitpick or a crit just wondering :/
The choice of colors is fantastic! Certainly an amazing work! Good luck!
This'll get my vote.
Amazing dithering here,i love the lighting too!
- Good Job! -
I'm seriously impressed by how convincing the light-depiction here looks, well done!
