@Stava - yep, that's because it's two versions of the same screen/section - I probably could have put a line between the two now that I think about it. I add the stuff in the right but didn't really like the result so I posted the earlier 'emptier' version on the left combined. =3

@Ottbot - but there  could be a secret... or sewers, either way.

 I love the bricks, mario, coin and mushroom sprites, however I think the bg could use some more layers, since it looks quite empty the way it is..
