Sorry but I'm quite confused on what you are saying @__@ ... but i'll try to figure it out. Well it's fine really. Honestly I was having second thoughts about posting it but I suppose it's better to delete it and just keep it as reference. Thank you for the kind concern though :)
Resizing pixel art (if at all necessary) should be done with 'nearest neighbor' setting, by an integer factor (x2, x3 etc). Resizing is useless on PJ because of the zoom feature.
Pixeling from a non-pixel-art source is either a color reduction (BIG NO-NO), a trace (small no-no) or a hand-made copy (ok, but referencing is better than copying).
This piece had no chance to be accepted because of all the issues. Have no regret!
Im not really familliar with resizing things but my reference isnt a pixel line art though....and yeah i suppose i dont have the consent of the artist who did the lineart. So should I delete this post? I mean it's ok if it's illegal or so :D
This isn't how it's done, as evidenced by obvious resizing issues :S
If you want to color someone else's linework (your description link doesn't work), 1/ make sure it's pixel linework, and 2/ the original artist is ok with it!
There are lineart threads at Pixelation (1, 2), I'm quite sure there's one here too but I couldn't find it.
What confuses you specifically?
