Thanks for the feedback. I think I was a bit too sloppy on this, yeah - part of that was my getting frustrated and calling things before I righly should have. I may give this another run.

Two suggestions-
When drawing a curved or diagonal line try to avoid zig zag lines with sharp corners because they make the line look rough and jagged. Instead, remove the corner pixels like this- link -so that each time the pixels transition to a new step on the curve they're only placed diagonally from the last pixel.
Also, there's a few small highlights here, but no shadows. Adding a few small shadows to places that should have them, like the hair that's under the hat or the pants under the jacket, will help give this more form.
