Holy crap - thought this was a top-down vertical shooter helicopter traveling over land, being filmed from above. It's apparently a helium balloon, right?
Why are there clouds in front AND behind it? Totally misleading.
This would be better if the guy swung back and forth a little, but I like it regardless.
ASEPRITE. http://www.aseprite.org/ It's pretty cool. Give it a shot.
Totally free, saves gifs, can do operations across frames, etc.. I did sprite, canvas size, and typed in -5 for left, -6 for right (total of 11.) etc. It does it for all frames. You can also just drag the blue bars. I should mention to see pixels at 100% instead of 200% in the program, you have to edit aseprite.ini to say "ScreenScale = 1" instead of "ScreenScale = 2" Everything else is covered in the included pdf.
Out of curiosity, what program did you use to crop/resave an animated gif, like you did below? The one I use has trouble in that area.
And thanks for the fav'!
Why not just crop 11 pixels horizontally and vertically like so: http://i.imgur.com/4CQAGma.gif ?
Yep, it's a helium balloon, taking the little man upward. Why did I have clouds in the front [and back]? Well it was mostly because I used that medium tanish greening brown as the BG. I ended up having some darker tans and some lighter tans left to use, and so I had some clouds be in the fore/background. It was spur of the moment, really. Here's hoping you were the only one to be confused when looking at this ;)
