This is an HD version of Samus in the ending of Metroid for the NES. I decided to take more liberties with her supposed "bikini" and remake it on a Zero-Suit-Samus-Style jumpsuit, using only the original sprites' colors for the two upper versions, and using more colors and even more liberties in the bottom ones.

The original version of this art was intended for Samus to be holding her NES sprite counterpart (to give the sense of size, and contribute with the piece's composition). I removed it in order to not go against any rule. Check it on my Deviant Art for the original intended idea:
