Well what can i say, someone made the rules, i'm using my own way to create sprites, what matters for me is the final outcome but if i can't share my animations here that's fine
Yes it wasn't , original model had no more than 64 colours but i rendered it again in hd resolution, my anims aren't frame by frame drawn sprites, i animate them using keyframes moving body parts but i use them in my games as sprites and they look fine http://i.imgur.com/7rpgBEv.png http://i.imgur.com/INVhCIS.png
Bicubic resize is considered as a "dirty tool" according to pixeljoint gallery standard.
thanks for the info.
213 colors? Sorry but I don't think this was hand pixeled.
Edit: posted before reading your previous comment.
I hate black outlines too, i render in 1280x720 then resize my characters with bicubic so that gets rid of blurred borders, it was really lot of experimenting, also line thickness is important when making animated model because original model is quite big.
Question... I don't use black outlining for it is too thick for my taste ... how do you make your outlining look so thin?
awesome animation. great work
