Really not bad for your first pixel. I like the relaxed pose and his clothes. :)

Most sprites work better with a transparent backround.
You don't need to upload a upscaled version, we have those fancy + - buttons to do that for us. I'm pretty sure you knew that already, just a heads up.

The relaxed pose and the clothes detail are result of my drawing experience, though I need practice with the colour stuff.
And for some reason when I use the + - buttons the image get really blurry, idk why, but it does, so I decided to build my post in the most complet form.
I'm really into palletes and theory now, and soon I'll be posting fresh stuff so yall will watch my learning curve AND can be of use to other novices.
