Many times moving an entire pixel is too much so this technique will make it smoother.

Could someone explain the term 'subpixelling' to me, please?
I think I get the idea by watching this, but I'd like to hear the proper definition and use.

Cool subpixeling, definitely something I want to try! I agree with Phil though, it doesn't look quite right since the starting pose is very crisp with no AA, the subpixeled breath looks a bit fuzzy. This might not be an issue at 1x zoom but when zoomed in it doesn't work as well (even the preview looks a lot better to me). Really love all your animations though, I've been studying them :)
Abu and the lamp are made in that awesome style you use so well with no AA but Aladdin is different... I understand you had to resort to some AA to smooth how much he "swells" when breathing, but it turned out perhaps a little too busy in such a small space (in my opinion).
I still love this tho
