Huh, our colors are pretty similar aren't they. The ones in your avatar are a little bit more desaturated, giving it a more realistic look I think. If I remember correctly, I think I stole the skin tones from one my earlier pixels and then tweaked it a little.

I didn't even notice there was anything wrong with the neck! I'm still not quite sure I see it, but I'll give it a whirl once I get time to make an edit.

For a second there it seemed like you used the very skin tone palette I used for my avi, and other related figures. When I went and checked, they came in incredibly close. I think it's awesome that we both came to the same color choice conclusions, seeing as it works so well.
