I don't think the anatomical errors are that much of a handicap for this challenge considering that you've managed to make distinctive sprites, with good readability, an awesome theme (gladiators yay!)... and the colors are indeed appealing. Good going! :)

Thank you guys! I haven't really heard a good thing about colors until this piece :) I know this is full of anatomical errors but couldn't find the time or courage to get back and fix them until deadline.

@Adarias; the selection was mostly random images coming to my mind from gladiator movies and werewolf was just something I tried to make :) Thank you for the kind words...

I love Sundays because most of the more ambitious pieces get submitted ;).  Nicely done.  I see the classic "luctator", "provocator", "gallus", "dimachaerus", and of course, "werewolf" styles of gladiator ;).
