I'm surprised so little folks see him. Each friend I showed it to, I asked: "Can you find the monster?" and only then, after like a minute, they say: "OH I SEE IT! Creepy ". To me, it means that part succeeded, as I didn't want it to be too obvious

I know which one you mean, and I'm not gonna change it. That one's allowed me to make some great nuances that finish the shading ;) The whole pic just wouldn't be the same if I'd take thos two colors further apart.

nice, though I think you need to play a little with your values.  You have 1 shade that is too close to another
