A very nice use of 14 colours. Great tone and atmosphere and I like the contrast between the greys for the tiles and colours for the aliens.

Gotcha..I didn't see you wrote that the first time I looked at this image.. looks like a fun challenge though, and turned out great.
In this piece I'm trying to eliminate ALL single/stray/lonely/isolated pixels. So there's nothing "wrong" with the pixels he pointed out, I'm just trying to get rid of them as an added challenge.
@Adam - In that image you linked, the ones inside the white box..would those really be considered stray pixels? Serious question here, because I do that same thing from time to time in my art and was never aware.

Spotted the no-isolated-pixels construction before I read the description :D
What made me start looking for it was the starfield, which btw works well for this because it reads to me like distortion through the glass.
I can see the thumbnail on this page but not on the front page. Happened after I tried to change to preview file, it's a problem on PJ's end.

The colors are very well balanced.
I've been going back in and zapping strays, let me know if you find more (I see 5 on the main sprite, I'll fix those tomorrow).
