Somewhere around Chapter 1 in what was supposed to be my very own Final Fantasy Tactics sequel project, which is put aside to work instead in an actual indie project, that being my steampunk strategy RPG in the works. Fangames can only take you so far, sadly. 

For this endeavor, a whole story outline, concept art, written dialogue for the entire Chapter 1 and several sprites and portraits were done and well before I went original indie. The pieces here in my Pixeljoint are but a few of those.

''Set 60 years after the events of Tactics, a young mage awakens to the realization that links her very essence to that of the Espers, servants of the gods, and mythical beings of great power, that would eventually be banished from Ivalice by their very creators after openly rebelling to their ancient rule. All of this comes as Ivalice is wrought in turmoil once again, by the hands of the new young King, manipulated by hidden forces who would not hesitate to bring about mass chaos to suit their ambitions. However, not only in the lands of men does conflict stir, but burning in their eternal torment would the Espers's desire to overthrow their Occuria creators grow. Perhaps the conflicts of men, everlasting, would be but a reflection of this grander scheme?''
