@Pumpkintbot: It's for iOS only. And, of course, posting this here is part of the marketing for our projects. Anyway, don't you think there is a hard pixel work behind that screenshot?
Hello!
An update is coming next week solving some issues.
@Nevercreature: Lo intentaremos más adelante, si obtenemos beneficios con este y otros minijuegos.
@Imagician: Yes, just yesterday some people told us via Twitter about that "Fire" game for the Game & Watch. Firemen Rush is not based on that game, but they seem to share the same idea: fire and people jumping of the window.
@reis: Thanks!
@Marina: Thanks. You could try to find a second hand cheap iPod Touch somewhere (a 4th or 5th generation one).
See you!
Very nice job, as always. I wish I could play the game, but you know my iOs device it's too old (the first ipod touch).
damn, just wrote some text here and it got lost. quick recap: great gfx, just the change in perspectiv fg-bg bothers me a bit. my cousin used to have this in the 80s as a Nintendo portable thingy: www.techsuave.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/nintendo-game-n-watch-fire.jpg
Hope to see this in Google's play store soon ;)
Thank you people very much for the comments!!
@CELS : We prefer to focus on one platform. This let us release games more often. I suppose we'll port this to Android in the future. We're focusing on mobile devices for now.
@Friend : We thought on all those awesome enhancements, but we wanted to achieve a short development time. And yes, the game is unfair. For the next project, we'll look into that and will make a gameplay that depends only on you ability, not on luck.
@Naraxis : If you wanna see some particular palette, let me know. I could upload the firetruck and its palette.
@Bausuke : The music is a tribute to "The Ninja Warriors" SNES soundtrack. We really needed to hear that kind of music in a game again. We made the music using Logic Pro and actual audio samples from the game.
@Nether : You'll get more of these. I have done all the graphics for a new minigame (much better and playable than this, in my opinion), and you'll enjoy it soon. And also I'm working on another minigame! Don't stop the party!
@Pupilkan : There is no problem to me. I think that, what differentiates a game from another is the setting, atmosphere and style, usually imposed by the graphics.
Have a nice day!
Are you kidding? Yesterday i finished my project and game mechanics by 50% identical to your project! How could it be?!
Great pixelart style and really nice colors. On top of that it's a really fun game. More of these please.
Love this. Gorgeous graphics, and the game looks really fun from the video. I'll download it soon! Also, that music! So retro. :D
Looks cool, support and downloading. I would love to see the color palette that you use.
i love the game
I love the chaos- but it could be much more stimulating! Thats what videogames excel at! Having the light post flickering, having the fire truck lights blazing, and just more stuff like that going on would be orgasmic.
for the game- i ran into an issue where a rock and person were falling at the exact same time and rate, so the only option was to lose
First!
And this is damned sexy. But I am very upset that this game isn't available for PC. A pixel art game that isn't available for PC is like... sending blind people to a strip club. Or asking someone with good eyesight not to go to a strip club. I don't know, I can't even think of a good analogy for how disgusting this is.
Nice pixel art. Kind of a morbid game though, to be honest.
Excellent piece! Love it!
