I felt the colors were too washed, maybe more interesting though. I like the cartoony look better myself. the backgroung is really boring and i have space and couple of colors to spare so i might touch it up. The eyes and lips also bugs me.

Great job. Maybe the cranium should extend further vertically though? Like this? Then again, I don't know what you look like.
