A lil' practice, a reinterpetation of this. The step-by-step is heya (Extra cookies for whoever is able to read that tiny address). And yes, the right eye is not quite right. Alas we must move on. Edit: made it more interesting?

Very well done! The presentation kind of ruins it a bit for me imho (the eyes being on a purely white canvas), putting that aside, this does look terrific!
