Yeah, that makes his moustache look even more like a mouth.
I like these, the only thing is Freddies moustache, it looks like a mouth and when you see it as a mouth it no longer looks like Freddie, but that's part of the joy and pain of pixelling at this size I suppose. Did you try doing a handlebar moustache with pixels below at either end?
In my opinion, the (amount?) colors used held back the crispness and definition that could have came from this piece.
