@Raider Judo- Gotta keep those dragon balls polished
@catf0x- Aw, thanks! I had the idea to do a still life based on a videogame or cartoon, but it took some thinking to find one I like with more than one glass object
This is very original for the challenge, it made me sooo excited when I saw it in the Challege thread! So awesome and wonderfully executed, I especially love the middle area of the dragonball and the glove.
This looks absolutely wonderful! I love the dragonball and the gloves in this piece!
Brilliant piece!
The glove just makes me drool...
@Lucas- Yeah, CELS was making a joke, he edited that screencapture to say 9000+. It's a Dragon Ball Z reference and meme.
It's only 24 colors, look here: http://www.pixelaria.org/ferramentas/contador-de-cores/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pixeljoint.com%2Ffiles%2Ficons%2Ffull%2Fheadchala3.gif
Aw, thanks, guys!
@Manupix- I see what you mean, but I kept the refracted light somewhat subtle so that the cloth underneath the effect would read more easily. I tried a wider value range, but it started to look like there was something on the glove/symbol. As for the folds, you're right, and I think it's probably obvious that I struggled with that section a lot
Thanks for the crit!
I liked it alot more without the dithering but it still looks amazing!
Really great! Although manupix does make some points. But I just love how it looks almost like a classical paintings despite the DBZ subject. Awesome, great idea.
Fantastic, I'm not a big dragonball fan but other than that it's brilliant
Great still life =)
The light effects could use more contrast though. Glass balls focus light: the light spot should be much brighter and surrounded by darker shadow. Also the shadows in the lower right 'fabric' aren't dark enough for the volume and folds to be obvious.
The glove is awesome
Brilliant, I love the rendering of the fabrics and the way light interacts with the glass objects.
did you make this artwork?? in case u did i want to inform u lots of ppl have been reposting it without creditting you.
