I like the update better. It's good that you uppdate, since not everyone does...

I liked it, but the pinkish aa color looks out of place on the tan Moogle.

Just a little bit of C&C, because you want to improve. I like nothing more than motivated people.

I suggest making the outlines waaaay darker, upping the contrast (preview at 100% always works fine for me) and try to get the shading of the red parts a little more solid; the dark parts bigger relatively to the lighter parts. Contrast is probably the most important. In 100%, you can't really see the different shades you've made. Looks bland, even though it isn't.

I do like what you have now though. Nice work!
