The character reminds me of Mushu (from Mulan), which is awesome, and for some reason the style reminds me of the Jackie Chan cartoon, which is double awesome
I know you said it was just for fun, but it would look even nicer with some AA.

I really like this, but I find the thin spine on the tail rather odd-looking.
