For the challenge. I would post the reference if it wasn't my girlfriend. I really want to do more, but I think beyond this, any methods I use will be messed up because of my lack of skill with pixel art.
Heh. I just used the red hued palette given to colour her face. Then I added the smoke from her eye. You could say she has that smouldering look about her. ;)
