This brave fella was playing a major role in my Midgord Vikings LD48 entry. Post-contest animation attempt.

As below said, and there should be more frames to make the cutting animation smooth :)

Beard doesn't move like hair or cloth (maybe when it's wet but this is not the case).

White pixels around his uper arm are strange, if you wanted to make highlights you should find some references and try again. You should determine your light source position and shade this accordingly.

I think that one blur frame between first and last frame will gave this animation more motion. Also if he already step forward with his left leg why you make him go back, it looks strange. He should make that step at the end of slash.
