I wanted to make something similar to one of my earlier pieces to see how much I had improved. I got it to state where I felt it was almost ready and needed just a bit of cleaning up, but that cleaning up felt super tedious and I kinda abandoned this thing for a long time (years or something).

Few weeks ago I felt like drawing something and opened this thing again. Instead of finishing the cleaning up, I just redrew huge parts of the image. New stuff was much better, and didn't need nearly as much cleaning up.

Dang, that's really impressive. All too rarely do you see a piece on here with as much merit as a work of art as pixel-technique expertise.

Thanks for the comments :) Feels wonderful to actually submit something again. I have started a lot of pictures, but for some reason I keep gettin stuck with them.

But, now I have actually managed to finish something again, so maybe the curse is broken...

The texturing work on this is superb, glad you went back and revisited it.

Very interesting color theme too.
