great initial line art! must say though, I'm not so fond of the hair (even though the shading effects on the back of the head are really good), maybe because the hairline in front gives the character such a low hairline. plus, looking at I wonder if it wouldn't look better to give the front of the ears some red?
I coalesced the big ones into an imgur album. The first two are a bit hard to see because they're just a black outline on a dark gray background. If you look closely, it reveals some of the tricks I mentioned though!

You're right, but at some point I got tired of putting more hours into this and just wanted it done. 
I put about 15 hours of work into this piece as it is. There are a few other mistakes if you look hard enough, but I encourage people not to 
Nope, 100% done in Photoshop by hand! I did take advantage of some tricks that were possible due to the fact that it's an orthographic projection though. I have some WIPs up on imgur if anyone is curious.

Sweet 3D effect! Incredible. You could have used some sub-pixeling for the eyes though.
Fantastically animated, the eyes lack a little soul, otherwise a lovely character! :)
