@king_bobston : Actually I didn't feel the need to add more details to the background, the portrait is already pretty heavy and I don't think it's necessary to draw attention on the background. It's only here to serve atmosphere/lighting purposes
How can someone with such fine jewerly be considered un-glamourous?
The lightning and the plasticity/3Dness is superb! 
But I'm not a fan of the background, looks kind of lazy compared to the rest.
Ahh, I was waiting for somebody to do this. Brilliant pixelling.
This didn't win top place? Shame. It's a really fun piece.
