When I originally designed and animated this sprite I didn't like it very much. However, as time has gone by I've come to like it more and more. It was difficult to make it look like a lively sprite animation because it's so square and uniform. Thankfully she had some dangly house bits that I could play around with. I really enjoyed seeing her along side the other housies in the first AT game. Fun fact: The cat in the house is Adventure Time writer and Artist, Natasha Allegri's cat ,Pancake. There was a time where I didn't attempt to put the cat in but somehow I managed to squeeze it into the design :p
**An interesting fact about all of the Adventure Time sprites for this game is that they all had hand pixeled alpha channels on the edges in order to soften them up and make it a bit more like the cartoon. The typical range for the Alpha was just 77,77,77. The engine would automatically make those colors alphas. t's a neat effect that I hope to see more often.
Strictly for portfolio purposes. Adventure Time and the Girl with Glasses House are owned by Cartoon Network
