Made for the Pixel Dailies. Subject this time was Jewels.

Started with the green one, obviously, then added the black one and wanted to make a pink one to get the 3 pixelsnader colors done. (I guess I just am that much of a narcissist?) But holy hell that pink gem was difficult. Still not quite satisfied with it. Though it helps comfort me to realize that even a photo at that size becomes a warbled mess.

Then added the remaining two and figured out something like a mythology of sorts. They're not elements, but rather states of mind, tribes, or sources of power. Clockwise from top:

Purple (amethyst) - the mind. Spirituality, wisdom, logic, and a hint of supernatural.
Green (peridot) - nature. Harmony, calm, flora, wind, water.
Yellow (pyrite) - honor. Valor, respect, loyalty, order.
Black (hypersthene) - technology. Science, machinery, tools, inventions.
Red (garnet/diamond?) - blood. Family, emotions, animals, courage.

Around 25 colors in total.
