Today's theme was Birds. (also, the palette was given)

I chose something a bit exotic. Aves Mentior, from the eponymous Mentior Isles. Not a super special bird (though the feathers look quite nice golden IRL) but only live on those islands. The layout of the whole work is based on the design of the micro-state's flag; flat blue with the bird icon in the center.

Neither the birds nor the isles exist, but I like to make up backstories. Also, I was wondering if it were credible enough and people would try to figure it out. Mission accomplished. =P
