@ Zizka
Haha, now that you mentioned it, there is some striking resemblance.
Thank you very much for the nice words. I try my best. :)
@ vimmel
Cheers for the input. Glad you like it a bit more now. :)
@ Carnivac
Thanks! That means a lot coming from a pro like you.
I thought this was Vimmel's avatar! Improving faster than the speed of light.
Love it! Looks like a big moon in the background now, schweet :)
Looking back through your gallery, you started off well and you've gotten much better since. Very nice use of colour.
@ TheKasparrr
Thank you very much.
I always try to incorporate as many 45° lines as possible to give my work a sharp and clean look... it doesn't always work though. :P
@ vimmel
Cheers for the nice words!
I hope the backround is better now.
I like thw hole piece, form the character design to unusual pick of colors. Outstanding improvement. :) Though I still can see plenty of 45 degrees lines but they make a very good pose for the character. :]
Really awesome character and colors! Great face :)
Im with FrostPumkin on that one, I think the background could make the character pop alot more if its a bit darker.
Peace!
Very nice piece !
I'm not sure about the white background tho, the character looks very dark in comparison
@ nedink
Wow, that is an awesome compliment; making me feel good!
Thank you very much :)
@ Marina
Thank you very much, Marina.
The work you've done on Octopus City Blues is amazing, and I really enjoy your youtube stuff.
@ moondrome
Thanks. :)
I feel that a brighter backround makes things look cleaner and easier to read.
Amazing, you always have this awesome palette where there is a nice gradient and then a few colors of different hues used strategically in the piece to add some nice flavor, envious of the skill
I love it, you did a good job. And i also love the palette xD
looks great but that white/green background is too bright in my opinion
@ bob
Cheers for the input, chap! I reworked his hand and added some shadows. I'll redo his forearm later.
Hehe, I'm glad you like the rest. :)
I dig the stylised anatomy, althrough I'm not sure about the staff holding hand and forearm.
And the colors, of course
Also the composition is very simple and strong, I like that sort of stuff.
Thanks!
I didn't want to add another colour just for the AA of that green. I aimed for a 10 - 13 colour plaette.
Thank you.
