I noticed that too, I wanted to use a blue to make shiny spots in the shadow and add a blue buffer color. In the end I didn't want to risk too much, I have a lot of piece unfinished because I continue to change things midway. I'll continue to use the DB32, so I'll try to follow your suggestion.
Oh nice! For the DB32 palette, you should also try to be a little more adventurous with the colours that you use, instead of using mostly green, try using even more blue and dark purple in the shadowy parts -things like that. My nitpicking aside, this looks fantastic.
@BathMaster_2000 Thanks, I had doubts on the AA, I'd probably need more colors to do a perfect transition.
And there is a little problem in the top left corner of the snake, but well, it's done. I don't think that I'll edit it..
