Is ther a link to the iSTVAN version? I went through his gallery and couldn't find it.

I really like this version. A very creative rendition of iSTVAN's.

The challenge is to create one's own interpretation of iSTVAN's sprites, not to recreate the original. The glasses, gender, striped blue top, red skirt, auburn hair, general pose, and floating pixels are all characteristics shared by both sprites, so I think "completely unrecognizable" is a bit of a stretch.
