Gooma, Pacman, Pikachu, and 1up Shroom. Nice stuff.
I especially like pixel art pieces in this sort of zoomed in/low-res style. And of course the green. which actually looks nice with the orange/brown of the wooden parts.
Well I actually run windows 8.1, and generally have rather minimalist backgrounds (currently this) but I wanted to pixel something more recognizable. The right hand screen shows this, by the way.
Yes, fuzzy dice, but those are not part of the 5 toys I meant. The mushroom lamp and pacman plushie are. There are two more plushies (they're not that hard to recognize I hope) and my Nexus 7 box.

And yeah. I pretty much always want my pixel art to be scaled to at least 200%. Modern screens are too high res for pixel art to be interesting at native resolution, IMO.
