Was trying to work on clusters. Was quite challenging. Had a very hard time with open spaces, such as the forehead, just had no idea what to do with that. I also decided to just throw in a second light source, since it usually looks cool, and I needed practice.

I'm most happy with the nose and eyes, which I did first. Any critique is welcome.

Also, I just redid my website, check it out: http://samkeddy.com

I absolutely love everything from the eyes down! It is very good as a whole, but I think what bothers me about above the eyes is the highlights on his forehead. I don't find it conveys shape very much, just kinda blotched on there. I think if you played around with the highlight shapes a little you could add some shape and depth

what makes it look oakaki is the random pixels and pointless bits that loom about the clusters.  For instance, on the big bright highlight on the forehead are 2 random pixels in the bottom left.  Bits like this are everywhere.  Also, the line art is not very clean or controlled.  See the line of the head directly under the right horn or even the line art of the top of the head.

For the horns, the right horn should be angled slightly down and left.  Imagine the piece as a clay sculpture, then imagine you grabbing onto the right horn and angling it more down and left to get an idea of where you feel it would fit correctly on the head.  For the right horn, it probably should be pushed back in 3d space; imagine standing in front of the sculpture with your hand out, your hand grabbing the left horn and pushing it away from your own body while also angling it a bit to the left to have it lie correctly on the head as well

I think general shape and perspective is ok, you can try to remove the brightest grey from his left horn 'cause in that angle It wouldn't get much light from the white light source

Exactly what I was imagining too

Can't find any serious flaws. The look is not oekaki, more like hand-painted, and the second light sourse is very nice. Like gleams of fire from a burning city after the orcish raid :)

Head and horns look off to me too, but after staring at it for so long I can't figure it out. And why do you say it looks oekaki? I tried to clean it up as best I could. Maybe it's the lack of really detailed parts? Perhaps I need to add more colors. Also I just rememberd I meant to shrink this before I started to work on it, oops!

Really nice clusters and overall drawing, even if it's more oekaki. The upper half of the head is a little funky. Looks flatter and something about the shape and perspective seems off. The horns also look out of perspective to me at least
