I feel bad becuase I dig the ring more than the actual bird 

Very cool piece! good texturing for the bird, great for the ring. Colors can be fixed up a bit.

wow! REALLY excellent rendering of the gold texture!

although it feels a little rough and dirty. Not sure if that was intended, but some AA and cleaning up would make it all smoother

keep up the REALLY great start!
