Yeah, colorcount could significantly be reduced as you mention it. The overused dithering is a bit more distracting in my opinion though (as with some of the other ones in your gallery). Metal seems rarely convincing that way, and it usually gives an unwanted texture to surfaces.
Um, thank you for your feedback. I'm still learning , and one of the main lessons - do not use a lot of " extra" shades. Older works contain so much is not necessary. And at the expense of metal, I agree with you, but on this character red metal matte and I think I have problem with only gold metal. Next time I'll pay attention to the materials.
