This is awesome. Great details on the head and the feathers.
at huge pieces like these you tend to get lost in detail, thats why it somehow lacks contrast, the execution of techniques is nice but the transition from light to shadow doesnt really compliment its shape and depth :O
mane of the chimaera looks as if you used the polygon selection tool and bucket filled with a lighter color, its a very very blocky transition there
im unsure how you approached this big project but the initial planning of contrast/lighting has a huge impact on the outcome :D
