Hardly. I was trying to make him as close as possible as to the anime. The level of shading and everything else are exactly the same :)

Gaara was always one of the few naruto characters I actually liked back when I watched abit of naruto.
I feel like you could clean up your pixels abit more and add some more shading to improve this.
Good effort nonetheless
