no need to feel ashamed! I've had the same problem too. Then I decided, if I'm developing for 64x64 then I should cut everything down to size. No sentimentality, be ruthless :D
Love this! I always feel like I need more screen space when making mockups and developing GUIs, so when I see mockups like this, I feel ashamed ans amazed at same time! LoL

Loving the fish dialogue scene. Only wish you shaded the fighting character a little more. It seems off with so much awesome depth work going on.
tx cure! Jrpgs sometimes have at least one enemy named very confusingly after something similar but not quite. Like snakes in Zelda games being called "ropes", etc. So yeah I went with a blowfish design and called it something else spiky

wow, makes me kinda wish this was real haha. I think it'd make for a really interesting game that could be played on very low resolution mediums, i.e one of those business cards with a small screen
