I love the leaves in the foreground adds depth, and how they all point inward really gives the piece good movement.

I looked at a peacock for reference, but I ended up drawing the spirit more dodo-like.

I had a version before where the water was very blue, I felt it was too blaring tho, so I changed it to the stone colors. I could maybe make the water slightly bluish though. 

I like the concept of the spirit. What bird did you base it off of?

This is a cool little scene. I do wish the water had more blue in it though, it's go with the other more saturated look of the image..
