Thanks for rehosting it! I was partial to the earlier version's layout myself though xP
Updated bookmarklet for anyone who needs it:
Javascript:window.location.href='https://www.linneart.com/pj?input='+encodeURIComponent(window.location.href);
(PJ keeps capitalising "Javascript" automatically, you may need to change it to lower-case. Who coded this lmao)
My partner is a web developer and has rescued us! I've emailed EdJr about FixelJoint so let's see if the magnifying glass can be fixed too. : )
I'm hosting it now: https://www.linneart.com/pj/ Just paste the PJ link (ex. https://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/151362.htm?sec=showcase) into the white box and click Inspect
send me the urls and I can make it happen. I already did it just now for the one you sent the screenshot of :)
I don't have an option to edit it as shown:
https://ibb.co/sHMn6Pq
I can access this old art by clicking on the green ribbons on my page, cannot do anything else to it. There are a 3 or 4 of these I would like to edit/ have access to again.
When you edit the work, does it say "Resubmit revised pixel art for approval." with a checkbox? If so, use that and it'll appear in the queue. If not, DM me the url and I'll help.
So - anyone know how to make:
ACHTUNG! PIXEL ART INACTIVE!
....active again? (relation to my previous question)
Ok, some smarty pants web dev person come save us.
Lo Spec has a palette analyzer tool.
I still see the previews when I click on old pj weekly competitions entries.
Where do you still see the previews? The most fail proof way to get rid of a file on PJ is to replace it with a different file (with a different filename...)
Is there a way to remove thumbnail previews of work you have deleted?
Yeah that sucks. I'm considering If I could make a simple replacement, but I don't know the first thing about building stuff for the web.
I find it somewhat amusing that scandinavian black metal still manages to be so extremely problematic still. Edgelords gonna edgelord, I guess.
Darkthrone, Burzum and Satyricon are my main gotos in norwegian bm, and a few more or less obscure bands.
I used to listen to Arcturus and Limbonic Arts back in the days, but I can't stand that music now, for some reason.
Happy birthday jalonso and Manupix! ![]()

Wherever you are...
Cranks up Stabbing Westward at an even louder volume.
I don't mind enjoying Limp Bizkit either. When I'm more in a mood for breaking stuff, not burning churches
None of those are my favs, but I admire both for historical impact on music, and they serve their specific functions like no other.
runs in and cranks up some sweet Limp Bizkit for y'all at full vol!
Please be more specific. Back in the day my top choice were Satyricon, Arcturus and Limbonic Art and Burzum.
All the time is the greatest time! Ugh! *listens to norwegian black metal*
Hapiel, I've adjusted your social credit score down 17 points.
I dunno how much respect a broken tv can demand. Teleport over to the SNES and level up to MS-DOS and you'll have all the respect in the world.
* EverQuest 1 level up sound *
From now on, if anyone here is ever considering addressing me directly, please keep in mind I am LEVEL 7 now, and I demand respect.
I've had some interesting pizzas over the years, BBQ chicken, alfredo sauce, caramelized onion and feta, anchovies and pineapple, but at the end of the day I like a good ol' fashioned pepperoni & sausage with olives on top. That and deep dish, regardless of what Jon Stewart thinks of it. XD

no memes, I think canadian bacon/pineapple pizza is S++ tier, maybe even the GOAT.
Try eating an entire can of only heads and then we'll talk. XD
You know how sometimes orange juice says "only pulp"? I like sardines in tomato sauce and every now and then the can will say "only heads".
Yeah sorry but y'all are really biased. Fish, squid, etc. are all delicious -- heads eyes and all. Eggy's got right. :D
Believe it or not, I actually love fried squid. It's by no means the only way I love it though - I've done stuffed squid, squid risotto, and marinated squid if memory serves me correctly. Really, as I mentioned before, it's hard for me to pass up on any dish that includes cephalopod if I have the option (and money).
I actually love fish and seafood in general as a matter of fact. As a kid, I went crazy over breaded crab claws and shrimp-shaped surimi, and anything I see in the store that resembles fish or seafood catches my attention more readily than other foods. The ironic thing is that I don't even live by the sea, and fish and seafood (especially salmon and cephalopod, my favorite kinds) are both more expensive :(
I don't mind if squid gets deleted off the menu as long as I get to keep my salmon. XD
And same. Not just fish, I don't like seeing the face of any animal I'm eating.
There's a grocery store by my dad's where they sell a whole pig's head, eyes, ears, and snout still attached. Not sure who buys it but I gotta respect that it's effient and doesn't waste any part of the animal.
Eggy, just for you, we can keep the squids. But I ain't gonna eat it.
What's your favorite way to prepare squid?
Please don't delete squid. It happens to be my favorite food
I'm not joking by the way. I actually love squid that much. Anytime I have a chance to have cephalopod, I never like to turn it down in favor of something else.
I do agree with fish heads though. Not because of the eyes or anything, I'm generally not fond of eating heads. Too different from what I'm used to. I generally only like the meaty parts of the meal, occasionally other parts if they're done well enough...
@greenraven I move to delete squid from the human food list.
@MrBeast Almost positive it's just a search tag type thing, not affecting how your image is displayed.
Does the "Transparent" checkbox in the submission window actually do anything or is it just placebo?
I'll eat calamari as long as it's just the tentacle or suction cups, but I will not eat the whole thing even if it's fried.
Same thing with fish. I love fish but I refuse to eat the fish head. Those dried eyes just staring at you, it creeps me out.
haHa ohhh, makes more sense now. But still . . .
Similarly, I also had a childhood calamari experience that turned me against all cephalods and their vile brethren. 10yrs old. Breaded and fried squid for dinner. One munch of the cursed rubbery concoction: Barfed. Never again.
Never again.
To be fair I was only like 12 and probably wouldn't have picked that today. XD
I had a similar experience many years ago at a Japanese restaurant when I ordered raw uncooked octopus. I took one bite and that's all I need for the rest of my life. XD
Still love trying weird new foods though.
oh i see. It says "limited time" on the thing, didn't notice.
Aha so a fellow crazy food tryer. Most people I know prefer to eat the same things over and over. What's up with that.
I did recently regret it, though - in a Vietnamese pho joint, I ordered a bowl that contained "Soft Tendon". Read it on the menu and thought surely this can't be as bad as it sounds.
It was.
Yeah it was straight up . . . tendons in there. As advertised.
Public Notice: tendon = not food.
If it's still around. It was one of their limited time experiments. Though they did bring it back once or twice.
I always love trying weird new foods. I went on a roadtrip with my brother last year and we stopped off at Sheetz. I've never been there before so I picked the weirdest thing off the menu, the Dr Pepper BBQ burger, that was also... an experience. XD
@greenraven You gotta be pretty wild n crazy to order that one, sir. Looks like it's worth a shot; I should try it.
@CELS I hope you're right.
I don't know about favorite but the ramen burger was.... interesting. XD
If you wait too long the noodles fall apart and you end up with steak and pasta basically. I'll give them an A for effort for trying something new and different though.

Pixilart.com has mostly kid and teenage users, and yet many of its most popular uploads are just old school pixel art and could be uploaded to the PJ gallery without issue. As long as pixel art is about the aesthetics of pixels, some people will always just stick to pixels without NPA elements. Kids don't need adult supervision to figure out that possibility, or to see the beauty in it. Employers with bad taste is another matter.

cool thanks!
today's PJ complaint - you can no longer un-fave something? I just tried, as a test.
also, what even is "Buddies"? I've never understood what that feature even does. What's the point. Is it just "faves", but for user IDs? How cool would it be if PJ generated a page of just activity from users in your "buddies" list. a standard watch list.
I'll post one of my many examples in the discord <3
@Morganne I wanna see what you ended up with on that project. only if ya dont care though.
@greenraven My favorite at Red Robin is the royal red robin (oMgggggg GET IN MY BODY https://i.imgur.com/4GItMu1.png). What's yours?
I really don't think making a piece pixel by pixel is an obscure definition of pixel art. Its like... literally in the name?
I like Pixeljoint's exlusive definition of pixel art, it makes me feel like a big man
I mean... Pixel Joint is dedicated to an obscure ritualistic interpretation of pixel art.
Most people see pixel art as a common McDonald's while PJ fancies itself a Red Robin. To the average person pixel art is not a $50 burger.

I got hired a few years ago to work on an avatar dress up forum. They said they wanted a pixel artist, and I submitted pixel art, but got it sent back because I "needed to work on my blending and shading". What they wanted was much like the example Mathias posted below. It was such a struggle to work that way. I tried so hard to tell them this is not pixel art without sounding like an elitist jerk ![]()
Thank you!!!
