The first spooky theme is An Unexpected Guest.
You will be creating a horizontal landscape on this theme. The following weeks will attach to the previous weeks' entries on the right hand side. So to summarize: a horizontal landscape panorama going from left to right.
Who will your unexpected guest be? What are they a guest for? Where are they a guest for? So many questions. Will we get answers?
Do feel free to interpret the theme (an unexpected guest) and format (landscape panorama) as you wish. Thinking outside of the box is always encouraged! The only real limitations are the palette and canvas size! And remember that it needs to connect to next week's challenge entry.
The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
I think it should be 96 (horizontal) x 64 (vertical) to qualify as a horizontal landscape panorama?
Wait. Are you suggesting that the palettes were not nice all the recent years? 
I would say wait and see what happens.

Thanks, I'm joining! To stay on the safe side as I'm just planning the whole thing and setting up a new project image for this... The final resolution of the entire panorama will be 256 x 96 pixels right? Or shall we prepare for a possiblity of different image width in the following weeks?

Wait this is a vertical canvas? Also how strict is the "landscape" requirement? Would an interior scene be breaking the rules since it's not a "landscape"?
